Ingredients 

Cabbage-1 no shredded or chopped thinly

Onion -1-2 nos chopped 

Mustard seeds-1/2 Tsp 

Urad dal -1 Tsp 

Red chillies -2 nos 

Curry leaves few

Salt to taste

Grated coconut -1 Tbsp

Coriander leaves few

Coconut oil-1 Tbsp


For Masala 

Grated coconut-1/2 cup

Green chilies-3-4 nos

Small onions-6-8 nos

Curry leaves- few

Method 

👉Grind the ingredients given under for masala coarsely without adding water set aside.


👉Heat coconut oil in a kadai , add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves allow it to splutter.



👉Add onions sauté well.



👉Add the chopped or shredded cabbage,turmeric powder and required salt mix well sauté for a minute. Sprinkle little water and cook covered for 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is done.



👉Add the ground coconut paste mix well sauté for a minute cook covered for another 2 minutes.


👉Continue to sauté in medium flame until all the moisture is absorbed.



👉Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and grated coconut, mix well and switch off the gas.


👉Serve hot.
