How to prepare high protein rajma salad



Are you looking for a healthy and flavourful salad recipe that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner ? Look no further than rajma salad.

Rajma also known as kidney beans is a nutrient dense legume that are a staple in Indian cuisine. They are rich in protein, fibre, essential vitamins and minerals making them a nutritious addition to any meal.

Rajma is traditionally used for making flavourful curry called rajma masala but here we have used it in a salad along with veggies and paneer to make a healthy delicious salad recipe.

To prepare this rajma salad combine cooked rajma, veggies and masala powders, grated paneer, seasoning and herbs and give everything a good toss and serve immediately.

Ingredients 

Cooked Rajma-1 cup
Onion-1 no
Tomato -1 no
Carrot -1/2 cup
Cucumber-1/2 cup
Green chilies -1 no
Grated paneer-1/4-1/2 cup
Red chilli powder -1/8 Tsp 
Pepper powder -1/4 Tsp 
Roasted cumin powder -1/4 Tsp 
Chaat Masala -1/4 Tsp 
Salt-1/2 Tsp 
Lemon juice -1 Tsp 
Coriander leaves few
Mint Leaves few

Method 

👉Wash and soak the rajma overnight, drain the water add fresh water and pressure cook for 6 whistles, drain water (use in gravy or rasam ) and set the rajma aside.
👉In a mixing bowl combine the cooked rajma, veggies, spice powders, salt, lemon juice, herbs and grated paneer and gently toss everything well.









👉Serve immediately.

Note

✍️There are no exact measurements for the ingredients it’s just based on your taste preferences so adjust accordingly.
✍️You can add boiled corn, grated feta cheese, cherry tomatoes,capsicum, grated beetroot etc too.
