Ingredients

For Masala Paste-

Onion-2-3 nos
Garlic -5-6 nos
Ginger -1 inch piece
Green chilies -4 nos
Coriander leaves -handful
Mint leaves-handful 

Other Ingredients -

Paneer-250 gms
Curd -1/2-3/4 cup
Fresh cream-2-3 Tbsps 
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder -1 Tsp 
Coriander powder -1 Tsp 
Roasted Cumin powder -1/2 tsp
Garam Masala powder -1/2 Tsp 
Salt to taste 
Sugar-1/2-1 Tsp 
Cinnamon -2 nos
Cloves-2-3 nos
Cardamom -1-2 nos
Star anise-1 no
Marati moggu-1 no
Bay leaf-1 no
Cumin seeds -1 Tsp 
Peppercorns -1/4 Tsp 
Kasuri Methi -1 Tsp 
Coriander leaves -few
Oil -2-3 Tbsps 
Ghee-1-2 Tsps

Method 

👉Shallow fry the paneer in oil + ghee in a pan until golden brown colour, set aside on a plate.


👉Heat oil in a pan sauté onions, ginger, garlic, green chilies, coriander leaves and mint leaves until done and transfer to a mixie jar and allow it to cool a bit and grind to a fine paste without adding any water. Set aside. 



👉In a mixing bowl add curd whisk lightly then add in turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder , roasted cumin powder, garam masala powder, salt and sugar mix well and set aside.



👉Heat oil + ghee in a pan add whole garam masala spices and sauté well .


👉Pour the ground masala mix well and sauté for a minute or two in low heat.Add 1/2 cup water mix well and cook covered for 5 minutes in medium flame stirring occasionally.


👉Now add the curd mixture mix well for a minute and cook covered for another 5 minutes.


👉Once the gravy changes colour, thickens and oil oozes on top add the fresh cream mix well.


👉Finally add in the paneer mix well and cook covered for another 2-4 minutes.


👉Garnish with coriander leaves and Kasoori methi mix well and switch off the gas.


👉Serve hot. Enjoy 😊
