Ingredients 


Ragi flour-1&1/2 cups
Rava -1/2 cup
Onion -1-2 nos
Ginger-1 inch piece
Green chillies -2-3 nos
Carrot -1/4 cup
Beans-1/4 cup
Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp
Bengal gram dal-1 tsp
Cumin seeds -1 /2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cashews -few
Curry leaves-few
Coriander leaves -few
Oil -1-2 tsps
Ghee-1-2 tsps



Ragi Upma Recipe Video 




Method 


👉Heat oil + ghee in a kadai add mustard seeds, urad dal, Bengal gram dal, cumin seeds ,curry leaves and allow it to splutter.


👉Add onion, ginger, green chilies and sauté well. 


👉Now add carrots, beans and sauté until the veggies are half done.


👉Add rava and roast in medium heat for about a minute.


👉Next add in the ragi flour and roast it for about 2 minutes in medium flame .


👉Add 5 cups of hot water , required salt and mix everything well without any lumps.


👉Cook covered for 5 minutes in medium flame making sure to stir occasionally until the ragi upma thickens.(Note :Ragi Upma will thicken overtime so remove from heat in slightly gooey consistency)


👉Garnish with roasted cashews and freshly chopped coriander leaves.


👉Serve hot.
