Cabbage Kurma

Cabbage kurma or muttaikose kurma is a delicious, easy to make South Indian style kurma  (gravy)  variety made by cooking cabbage in a coconut masala paste called kurma masala.

This is a very traditional dish and quite popular in certain regions of Tamil Nadu. While the basic concept of cabbage kurma remains consistent, there may be slight variations in the choice of ingredients for the kurma masala, reflecting the diverse culinary practices across different regions .In this post I have shared my family's version of this recipe. If you've grown tired of the usual kurma preparations and are seeking a delightful change, cabbage kurma is the perfect choice to satisfy your cravings.
