Ragi Malt is a delicious healthy traditional drink made with ragi flour or finger millet , milk and jaggery.This drink, also known as Ragi Porridge or ragi kanji, helps to boost immunity naturally. It also prevents cough and cold during winter season.It is ideal for weight loss diet.This malt beverage, also known as Ragi Ambli, is famous in Karnataka.  Ingredients 

Ragi flour-2 Tbsps

Milk -1 cup

Jaggery -2 Tsps or as required 

Cardamom powder-1/4 Tsp 

Chopped badam, cashews- few

Water-200 ml or 1 cup

Method 

👉Make a ragi slurry by mixing the ragi flour with 1/8 cup water without any lumps and set aside.



👉Bring 200 ml of water to rolling boil and then add the ragi slurry mix well and keep stirring continuously for 8-10 minutes in medium flame until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy.





👉Now add jaggery, cardamom powder, milk and mix everything well. Remove from fire.









👉Serve hot with chopped nuts on top. Enjoy.
