Sago ladoo /Sabudana ladoo/Javvarisi ladoo is a delicious and easy to make ladoo variety that can be prepared very quickly. This Ladoo is made with just three main ingredients like sago, powdered sugar and ghee. Try this yummy Sabudana Ladoo for this Diwali. Check out the recipe below.

Ingredients

Sago (Tapioca pearls)-1 cup
Powdered sugar-1/2 cup
Ghee-1/4 cup
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
Badam and cashews- few chopped

Method

👉Dry roast the sago in medium flame until it swells ,becomes crunchy and changes colour lightly.It takes around 15 -20 mins to do this step and is very important you do it patiently.

👉Allow the sago to cool and then powder it finely ,you can sieve it if you want .set aside.

👉Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a kadai add chopped nuts and saute until you get a nice golden colour.

👉Add the powdered sago mix well, continue to saute for 2-4mins in medium flame until raw smell goes .add ghee little by little and mix well.

👉Add cardamom powder mix well

👉Finally add the powdered sugar mix everything well.and saute for another 2-4 mins.

👉Remove from fire and allow it to cool a bit.
👉While still warm make small lemon sized ladoos.


Preparation Time-30 mins
Yield -12-14 ladoos

Note

✍️You can add desiccated coconut and nutmeg powder if  you like while sauteeing for extra flavour.
