Ingredients

Milk -1 litre
Condensed milk-200 ml
Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp
Saffron soaked in warm milk - few strings
Dry fruits and nuts ( badam,pista,cashew,dates,grapes,figs)chopped -1/4 cup or as required

For Paste

Badam-10 nos( soaked in warm water for 15 mins and skin removed )
Cashews-10 nos
Pista -10 nos
Poppy seeds(khus khus)-1 tsp soaked in warm water

Method

  👉Grind the ingredients given for paste to a coarse paste adding little water.set aside.

👉In a heavy bottom vessel or kadai add milk and bring it boil.

👉Continue to boil the milk until it reduces to half its quantity.
👉Add cardamom powder and saffron.

👉Add paste mix well.

  👉Continue to boil for another 2-4 mins.
👉Add condensed milk mix well .

👉Add chopped dry fruits and nuts mix well and boil for another 2 mins.

👉Remove from fire once you get desired consistency.

👉Serve hot or chilled.


Preparation Time-30 minutes 
Serves-4-5

Note-

✍️Instead of making paste of the nuts you can dry roast them and powder it coarsely.
✍️Adjust the amount of condensed milk and quantity of dry fruits and nuts according to your taste preferences.
