For making ring murukku-
👉In a mixing bowl add rice flour, urud dhal flour, red chilly powder, asafetida, cumin seeds, salt, hot oil and mix everything well.
👉Sprinkle hot water little by little and gently make a soft dough.Cover with cloth and set aside for 10 mins.

👉Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying.
👉Now take small gooseberry sized balls and roll them to finger length pieces and join the edges to make a ring .

👉Deep fry the rings in medium flame until the oil stop bubbling and you get a golden brown colour.

👉Drain the excess oil in tissue paper.

👉Store in airtight container.

Note-

✍️You can use melted unsalted butter instead of hot oil.
✍️You can add til or sesame seeds instead of cumin seeds.
✍️Make sure you knead the dough to correct consistency otherwise you'll not be able to roll it into rope shape. So add hot water little by little.
✍️Keep the dough covered or else it will become dry.
✍️Fry in small batches in medium flame only .
✍️I have made only a small quantity of this murukku so used only one cup of rice flour,if you are making large quantities double the ingredients as required.
