Ammini kozhukattai or mani kozhukattai is made with leftover processed rice flour which is made into small balls and is tempered with green chillies,ginger,dals and even veggies.It is super easy to make and can be done in a jiffy and tastes delicious.Check out how to make traditional ammini kozhukattai or mani kozhukattai recipe below.

Ingredients

Homemade Processed Rice flour /idiyappam flour/ kozhukattai flour-1 cup
Salt-to taste
Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
Urud dhal-1 tsp
Bengal gram dhal-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Green chillies-1 chopped finely
Gingelly oil-2 tsps
Curry leaves few

Method

👉For Homemade Rice flour Click here.
👉Boil water in a vessel.
👉In a mixing bowl add rice flour,salt, gingelly oil and hot water little by little and make a soft dough.
👉Make small gooseberry sized balls of the dough .steam it in idli cooker for 7-10 mins.

👉Heat oil in a kadai add mustard seeds, urud dhal ,bengal gram dhal, curry leaves, green chillies and saute well .

👉Now add the kozhukattais to it and saute for a minute.
Serve.
