Aamras

Aamras is a yummylicious Gujarati mango sidedish /dessert which is very easy to make.Aam means mango in Hindi and ras means juice so this recipe is nothing but mango juice or puree which is thicker as we don't add any milk or water to it.
It is used as an accompaiment for poori and trust me the combination is to die for.Alphonse mangoes are traditionally used to make this recipe but you can use any check out how to make traditional aamras recipe below.

Ingredients

Mango-1 cup (skinned and cubed)
Sugar-1/2 cup (as needed)
Dry ginger powder-a pinch
Cardamom powder-a pinch (optional)

Method

👉Grind the mango, ginger powder, sugar to a paste in a mixie and serve.

Preparation Time-10 minutes
