Neer More or Spiced Buttermilk

Neer More, also known as spiced buttermilk, is a traditional, refreshing, and incredibly healthy drink that’s not only easy to make but also packed with health benefits. Made from buttermilk, which is naturally low in calories and full of nutrients, neer more is a great drink to incorporate into your daily routine. It’s especially popular during the summer months due to its cooling properties, but it can be enjoyed year-round for its various health advantages.

The health benefits of neer more are numerous. Buttermilk is rich in calcium, providing up to 28% of your daily calcium needs in just one glass, which is essential for strong bones and teeth. It is also a good source of riboflavin (vitamin B2) and proteins, which contribute to overall health and well-being. Neer more aids in digestion and helps maintain a healthy gut, promoting the growth of good bacteria in your digestive system. It can help prevent acidity and even assist in liver detoxification.

Additionally, neer more is known for its skin benefits. The probiotics in buttermilk contribute to healthy, glowing skin, while the cooling properties of the drink can reduce skin inflammation and irritation. For those looking to manage their weight, neer more is a low-calorie drink that also helps promote satiety, making it a great addition to a weight-loss plan.

Neer more is commonly prepared during festivals like Rama Navami, where it is served as neivedanam (prasad) or offering.
