Tips for Making the Perfect Spicy Capsicum Rice

1. Rice Choice: Use long-grain basmati rice or regular raw rice for this recipe. Ensure the rice is cooked, cooled, and grains remain separate for the best texture.
2. Capsicum Varieties: Use a mix of red, yellow, and green capsicums for a colorful and visually appealing dish.
3. Spice Level: Adjust the spice level based on your preference. Add extra red chili powder or green chilies for more heat.
4. Masala: Freshly ground masala adds depth to the flavor. You can also use store-bought biryani or pulao masala for convenience.
5. Consistency: Avoid overcooking the capsicums—they should retain a slight crunch for a delightful texture contrast.
6. Tempering: A good tempering with ghee, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and peanuts enhances the flavor and adds a slight nuttiness.
7. Garnishing: Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves for an extra burst of flavor and aroma.
