Mixture Recipe

Mixture is a delicious spicy crispy and traditional South Indian snack or savoury variety made during occassions like Diwali .It is basically a mixture of various deep fried snacks like ompodi, karasev, murukku,groundnuts,cashews etc.which is seasoned with spice powders and served.The ingredients added into the mixture is based on your taste preference,you can add any combination you like. You can even make a sweet variety of the mixture by adding raisins and sugar.But here I have posted regular spicy South Indian mixture variety.I had already made all the snacks given below in the ingredients so it was very easy for me to make this mixture.I will give the links for each savoury below you can check it out too.

Ingredients

Kara boondi-1/2 cup
Omapodi-1/2 cup
Ribbon pakoda-1/2 cup
Murukku (broken)-1/2 cup
Butter murukku-1/2 cup
Roasted cashews and groundnut-1/4 cup
Roasted curry leaves few
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Asafoetida- a pinch

Method

👉Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl give it a toss ,mix well and store in a air tight container.serve.
