Ingredients -


Amla(Nellikkai)-6-8 nos (washed , seeds removed and diced)
Moong dal -2 Tbsps soaked in water for 15 minutes 
Onion-1 no chopped 
Tomato -1 no chopped 
Ginger -1 inch piece 
Garlic -4-5 nos 
Cinnamon -1 no
Cloves-2 nos
Cumin seeds -1 Tsp 
Pepper-1/2 tsp 
Turmeric powder -1/4 Tsp 
Salt to taste 
Curry leaves -few
Coriander leaves -few
Oil-1 Tsp

Method 

👉Heat a Tsp of oil in a pressure cooker, add cinnamon cloves, cumin seeds, sauté for few seconds. Next add onion, tomatoes, Indian gooseberries(Amla), ginger, garlic, curry leaves, turmeric powder, required salt, coriander leaves and sauté of every thing for a minute.


👉Add 1 & 1/2 cups of water and pressure cook for three whistles and allow the pressure to subside completely .



👉Drain the water and set aside for later use.




👉Transfer the veggies to a mixer jar and allow it to cool for sometime and grind to fine paste( use the reserve water if needed). 




👉Now mix the ground veggies to the reserved water and again keep it on the stove.



👉Adjust the consistency by adding extra water and also check for salt now and add required salt if needed.


👉Boil for 2 to 4 minutes or until desired thickness.


 
👉Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and switch off the gas. 




👉Serve hot with a sprinkle of pepper powder.

Note-


✍️Use fresh Amla for the soup to get the best flavor and nutrition.
    ✍️If you don't have a blender, you can use a hand blender or a food processor to blend the soup.
   ✍️ Make sure to blend the soup when it has cooled down a bit to avoid any accidents.
    ✍️If the soup is too thick, you can add more water or vegetable broth to adjust the consistency.
    ✍️You can also add a pinch of sugar or jaggery to balance the tartness of the Amla.
