Method

👉Heat 1/4 cup ghee in a kadai add besan flour and mix well with out any lumps and continue to roast the besan flour in medium flame until it bubbles and turns aromatic.

👉Now add wheat flour and mix well.

👉Continue to roast the mixture in low flame for about 10-15 mins until the colour changes to brown colour and nice aroma comes. (Note - This step is very important for getting perfectly tasty ladoos,if you under roast the mixture the ladoos will have raw wheat flour taste and can lead to digestive problems and on the other hand if you over roast the flours the ladoos will taste bitter. So be very cautious while roasting the flours).

👉Next add in 1/2 cup coarsely powdered badam and cashews mixture.Add cardamom powder.Mix everything well.

👉Switch off the gas.Allow the mixture to cool down a bit.

👉Now add powdered jaggery and combine everything well into a uniform mixture.(Note - Add the jaggery only after the mixture has cooled down a bit otherwise the jaggery will melt and make the mixture watery and it will be difficult to make ladoos).

👉Once you can handle the heat make ladoos quickly by adding required amount of ghee.(Note - The mixture tends to cool down quickly and dries up fast so make sure you have warm ghee by your side while making ladoos).

👉Allow the ladoos to cool down completely and then store in airtight container.

Preparation Time-30 mins

Yield- 25-30 ladoos depending on size
