Pudalangai molagootal / Snake Gourd Pepper Masala

Molagootal is a classic Palakkad style kootu or gravy that is both tasty and nutritious. Toor dal, special coconut masala paste, and

any vegetable or greens of your choosing are used to make this dish. Here I have used pudalangai or Snake Gourd for this recipe. The procedure is the same for all molagootal types. This recipe was made in a pressure cooker.

This pudalangai molagootal is delicious with hot steamed rice drizzled with ghee, but it can also be served as a side dish with chapati, poori, dosa, and other Indian dishes. See how to make this delicious traditional pudalangai molagootal recipe below.

✍️You can use any vegetable of your choice or you can make a mixed vegetable molagootal too.

✍️You can make keerai (green leafy vegetable)molagootal .

✍️Adjust the spiciness according to your taste preference.

✍️ Snake gourd is a watery vegetable so don't add too much water for cooking.
