In this blog post, I’ll show you how to prepare this healthy and detoxifying Peerkangai Soup step by step. Serve it as a starter or enjoy it as a light meal—it’s sure to leave you feeling nourished and satisfied.


Ingredients

Peerkangai/Ridgegourd -2 nos (skin removed n chopped)
Onion -1 no chopped
Tomato -1 no chopped
Garlic -4-6 cloves
Ginger -1 inch piece
Salt to taste
Pepper powder - to taste

Method 

👉In a pressure cooker add the chopped ridgegourd,onion,tomato,ginger,garlic and little water to cover the veggies and pressure cook them for 2 whistles.

👉Release the pressure and drain the water, reserve it for later use .

👉Grind only the veggies to a fine paste in a mixie.


👉Transfer the paste to a vessel add in the required quantity of reserved water and adjust the consistency.

  👉Add salt ,pepper powder and bring the soup to a boil and serve hot.
