Sweet Potato And Peas Gravy | Sakkaraivalli Kilangu Pattani Gravy

Ingredients
Sweet potato/Sakkaraivalli kilangu-1/4 kgPeas-1/2 cup
Curd -2 Tbsps
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Red chilli powder-1/2-1 tsp
Coriander powder -2 tsps
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder-1/2 tsp(optional) for colour
Cumin seeds-1 Tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee -1 Tbsp
Coriander leaves few chopped
Grind Together-
Onions -3 nos choppedTomato -2 nos chopped
Green chillies -2 nos

Method
👉Wash, peel and cut the sweet potatoes to cubes, keep them soaked in water until use.👉Grind the ingredients given under Grind Together to a fine paste without adding water,set aside.
👉Heat ghee in a pressure cooker add cumin seeds allow it to crackle.
👉Next add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder,and Kashmiri chilli powder saute for few seconds.
👉Add ginger garlic paste saute for few seconds.
👉Add the ground masala,mix well.
👉Next add peas and sweet potatoes after draining the water.
👉Add curd mix well.
👉Now add 3/4 cup water , required salt and close the pressure cooker and cook for just 2 whistles.
Remove from fire and allow the pressure to release.
👉Again keep on gas and allow the gravy to thicken to desired consistency.
👉Garnish with coriander leaves serve hot .
