Chana masala sundal, Kondakadalai masala sundal

Ingredients

Chana(chickpeas)-1 cup washed and soaked overnight
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Homemade sundal powder -2 tsps
Grated coconut -1 -2 tbsps
Curry leaves few
Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
Urad dal -1 tsp
Ginger -1 tsp finely chopped
Red chillies -2 nos broken
Asafetida a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil -2 tsps

Method

👉Wash and soak the chana overnight.Drain the water completely and add fresh water,turmeric powder ,salt and pressure cook for 3 whistles.Drain the water and set the cooked chana aside.

👉Meanwhile heat oil in a kadai add mustard seeds, urad dal,red chillies,curry leaves, ginger and saute well.

👉Add the cooked chana mix everything well.Add salt if needed.

👉Add the sundal podi mix well.

👉Finally add grated coconut mix gently.

👉Remove from fire,serve hot.
