Broccoli and peas soup


Broccoli and peas soup is a delicious, healthy and easy to prepare soup variety. In this recipe, I have pressure cooked all the ingredients and pureed them to a smooth paste and then diluted it to desired consistency and boiled for a few mins and served hot. Alternatively, you can boil the veggies in a vessel and then puree them. Moreover to get rich creamy texture you can add milk too but I have not added it in this recipe. Ingredients

Broccoli -1 no cut to florets
Green peas -1/4 cup
Onion -1 no chopped
Tomato -1 no chopped
Garlic -4 cloves 
Ginger -1-inch piece chopped
Peppercorn -1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Cloves -2 nos
Cinnamon -1 no
Salt to taste
Pepper powder - to taste
Fresh cream - to taste ( optional)

Method 

๐Ÿ‘‰Cut the broccoli to medium-sized florets wash and set aside.
๐Ÿ‘‰In a pressure cooker add all the ingredients except salt, pepper powder and fresh cream, add water just enough to cover the veggies. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.


๐Ÿ‘‰Drain the water to a vessel and grind veggies to a fine paste. Now add this paste to the cooked vegetable water mix well. Add extra water and adjust the consistency.


๐Ÿ‘‰Bring the soup to a boil, add salt and pepper powder mix well.

๐Ÿ‘‰Garnish with fresh cream on top and serve hot.

Serves -4-5
