Broccoli and Peas Soup

Broccoli and peas soup

Broccoli and Peas Soup is a delicious and nutrient-packed dish that’s perfect for a cozy meal or a light starter. Loaded with the goodness of broccoli and green peas, this soup is both flavorful and wholesome. It’s easy to prepare and can be customized to suit your taste and dietary preferences, making it a must-try recipe for anyone who loves simple yet satisfying meals.

In this recipe, I have pressure-cooked the vegetables , pureed to a smooth consistency, and then diluted to desired thickness before being boiled and served hot. This method ensures the nutrients and flavors are retained while keeping the process quick and convenient. Alternatively, you can boil the vegetables in a regular pot before pureeing them. For those who enjoy a creamier texture, milk can be added to the soup, but this recipe skips it to keep it light and healthy.

Broccoli and peas are both nutrient powerhouses. Broccoli is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while peas add a touch of natural sweetness and a boost of protein. Together, they create a soup that’s not just tasty but also excellent for a balanced diet.

This versatile soup can be enjoyed as a standalone meal or served as an appetizer. Pair it with some crusty bread or a light salad for a complete and satisfying dish. It’s also a fantastic option for meal preps or when you’re looking for a warm, comforting bowl of goodness on busy days.
