Cauliflower Gravy | Gobi Masala

Ingredients
Cauliflower -1 no (medium sized)
Onion- 2 nos chopped
Red chilly powder-1 tsp
Kashmiri chilly powder -1/2 tsp
Dhaniya powder -2 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds (sombu)-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil-2 tbsps
Coriander leaves few
Grind Together
Cinnamon-1
Cloves -4 nos
Cardamon-1 no
Bay leaf -1 no
Onion -2 nos
Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
Tomatoes -3 nos
Green chillies -1 no
Cashews -few
Method
👉Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai add the ingredients given for grinding and saute them well sprinkle water, cover the kadai and cook until the onion and tomatoes are mushy ,cool and grind to a fine paste (DO NOT ADD WATER FOR GRINDING).
👉Cut the cauliflower into medium sized florets wash them well and set aside.
👉Next add the dry powders -red chilly powder,turmeric powder,dhania powder,garam masala powder , kashmiri chilly powder saute well for 1 minute .
👉Allow the gravy to thicken according to your taste preference, check for salt.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Note
You can add kasoori methi leaves and fresh cream on top for garnishing.
