Doodh peda or milk peda is a yummy traditional milk sweet variety. It is made by condensing the milk to milk solids and then adding sugar to give it sweetness. Though it is a very simple recipe it takes time to do and constant checking. But trust me its worth all the hard work as this peda made the traditional way tastes absolutely amazing. Ingredients

High fat milk -1 litre
Sugar -1 cup
Milk powder-1/2 cup
Cornflour-1 tbsp
Ghee-1 tbsp
Badam and cashews chopped few.

Method

👉In a kadai or vessel add the milk and allow it to boil till it reduces to 1/2 litre


👉Once it thickens add the cornflour,milkpowder,sugar.




👉Keep stirring continuously till everything mixes well and come together into ball.
👉Remove from fire put it on a greased plate.allow it to cool.

👉Make small pedas using peda mould(available in the market).
👉If you don't have peda mould you can use a small lid grease it with ghee place a small ball of beda  and press it.





👉Make designs using a knife on top of it.place chopped badam,cashews or pista on it.serve
